Meet Jennifer
The Wedding Auntie. The woman who makes sure no couple ever feels invisible on their wedding day.
In July 2010, my boyfriend proposed on a Thursday. By Tuesday we were married at the courthouse. He was being deployed. I bought a $15 white dress at Walmart, my mom took photos on her phone, and I felt invisible, rushed, like just another number. That feeling stayed with me. In 2017 I got ordained, built a package starting at $500, and launched Just Elope so no couple ever has to feel the way I felt.
Today I have planned and performed 600+ ceremonies, from the Dallas Arboretum to half court at a Texas Legends game, live on Good Morning Texas, and at the State Fair of Texas. I have officiated on Netflix Love Is Blind and WeTV Brat Loves Judy, for Da Brat and Jesseca Harris-Dupart. CNN, the Today Show, PBS, and the New York Times have all told the story. And I am still the same woman who believes small does not have to mean forgettable.
When I am not at a wedding, I am a wife of 14 years and a mom to three boys, and I am building The Wedding Auntie, the place where I say the things about weddings the industry avoids. No fluff. No filter. Just the truth.

Yes. Officiant services and day-of coordination are available in Dallas and worldwide. Elopement packages are Dallas-area venues.
Every package includes a professional officiant and professional photography. Select packages add the venue, an onsite coordinator, videographer, and decor.
Yes. The Venue of Your Choice package is built for couples who already have a venue. We bring the officiant, coordinator, and photography.
Packages start at $500 for officiant-only and $1,295 for a full elopement package. A deposit secures your date, the balance is due before the wedding.
